Adult Learning

Thank you for joining the millions of Girl Scout volunteers nationwide who are building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

In order to become a Girl Scout Leader/Volunteer, Girl Scouts require GS101 and Volunteer Essentials be completed online to ensure that girls receive the best possible program.  Check out the 2012/2013 GSCCC Troop Pathway Adult Learning Progression Chart.

After completing GS101 and Volunteer Essentials, new volunteers who choose to become part of a Troop Pathway may meet with their troops as long as their volunteer application and background check has been processed and they have met with their Service Unit (local group that supports Leaders) for an Introduction Meeting.
