Media Girls
Interested in the opportunity to represent GSCCC? Ready to learn more about media outlets such as news and live broadcasting?
Media Girls are a team comprised of Girl Scouts across the California coast that represent the council with courage, confidence, and character. Open to Girl Scouts of all ages this team of unique individuals will be taking the lead during media interviews and commuinity events.
Media Girls are trained to be the first choice to feature in marketing materials and event broadcasting. They will work closely with GSCCC staff members, be included in various media opportunities, participate in special events, and be apart of our social media and virtual experiences. Media girls can learn more about public speaking, broadcasting, and business etiquette. They will of course have some time to shine in front of the camera as well!
Media Girls love the spotlight and interacting with others. They are courageous and aren't afraid of a challenge. They're Girl Scouts through and through-and they're not afraid to show it!
Media Girls Will...
- Be the first to call on to participate in interviews with the media, attend press, and radio broadcasting.
- Become a GSCCC influencer!- Our Cadettes/Seniors/Ambassadors can be guest writers on our GSCCC Blog or create social media reels and tik-toks. Create content, write articles, and shoot photos/videos.
- Proudly represent GSCCC at special council events, community events, and virtual or in-person events.
