Donating Girl Scout Cookies
Double your giving efforts by supporting local Girl Scout troops and donating to others in need simultaneously. Sending cookies to service men and women and emergency personnel. Customers have the option to do this virtually through Cookie Share or in person. Girls learn about philanthropy and the power of giving back to their local communities. Its a win-win!
Cookie Share/Care to Share
This program benefits Girl Scout troops and council while supporting the patriotic campaign care packages sent to members of the armed forces serving overseas, or local members of emergency personnel services, or those in need.
Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast is partnering with various organizations to provide boxes of cookies for patriotic mailings. You can donate cookies virtually to military either online donation using Cookie Share from a Girl Scouts Smart Cookies link or in person with Girl Scouts who are selling directly.
How It Works:
- Girl Scouts collect $6 donations and turn in the money to their troop, indicating Cookie Share or Donated Cookies on the order card.
- All Cookie Share donations council-wide are tallied, and then GSCCC makes one large delivery of cookies from our warehouses to the partner organizations of all the participating Girl Scouts.
- Donated packages count towards girls' sales totals and rewards, benefiting the troop and care to share recipients.
