The Volunteer in Training (VIT) Award is your chance to step into a
leadership role and make a real impact on younger Girl Scouts. As a VIT,
you’ll work closely with an adult mentor to plan, lead, and deliver
engaging activities for a troop. Along the way, you’ll strengthen your
leadership, communication, and planning skills while inspiring the next
generation of Girl Scouts. This award is all about growing as a leader,
giving back to your community, and discovering just how powerful your
