The Counselor in Training (CIT) I Award is your first step toward
becoming an inspiring camp leader! In this program, you’ll work
alongside experienced counselors to learn the basics of guiding younger
campers, leading activities, and keeping everyone safe and engaged.
You’ll build skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
while discovering your own leadership style. By the end, you’ll be ready
to take on more responsibility at camp and continue your journey toward
becoming a confident, capable counselor.
