Girl Scouts of all ages are invited to honor and celebrate Black History Month by learning about the stories, struggles, and successes of Black Americans—past and present. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, girls will explore powerful moments in history, spotlight influential leaders and creators, and reflect on how they can stand up for justice in their own communities.
From music and art to science, activism, and entrepreneurship, this patch program highlights how Black history is American history—and encourages every Girl Scout to be a respectful, curious, and courageous changemaker.
