Bakers in Training invites Girl Scouts to step into the role of official bakery staff at the Oxnard Program Center for a behind-the-scenes look at how bread is made. Girls will measure, mix, and knead real yeast dough while discovering the science behind how bread rises and what it takes to move a product through a production process. Along the way, they’ll explore food safety, teamwork, and simple business skills as they track their batch and package their own handcrafted dough to bake at home. This hands-on program blends STEM, entrepreneurship, and life skills in a fun, real-world bakery setting.
