In this hands-on badge program, Girl Scouts will team up with Junk Girls—a gorgeous creative space known for transforming discarded treasures into stunning art—to explore the world of robotics in a whole new way. Girls will dive into the design thinking process, then bring their own robotic concepts to life using upcycled and vintage materials.
With guidance from the Junk Girls team, Scouts will imagine robots that solve real-world problems, sketch and prototype their ideas, and reflect on how both art and engineering can work together to shape the future. No coding or electronics required—just imagination, resourcefulness, and a love for innovation.
