Learn valuable skills about being a mentor and sharing your skills,
passions, and experiences with younger Girl Scouts! Program Aides have
the unique opportunity to serve as champions for the Girl Scout
Leadership Experience.
All girls who have completed 6th
grade or above, are invited to attend Program Aide Core Training on
their way to completing the steps of the Program Aide Award. Core PA
Training involves learning to work with children and adapting
activities for special needs and situations. You will put your new
skills to the test by hosting a Brownie Badge Workshop on Saturday,
thus earning a Leadership in Action LiA) Award.
Participants will receive an exclusive GS Swag Bag filled with
treasures and ideas to keep any group of youngsters occupied!
This is a two part workshop. Girls must attend both sessions
and are expected to stay the entire time.
Part 1: May 31st, 5-8pm
Part 2: June 1st, 9am-1pm
Bring a lunch (no peanuts) and a water bottle!
Program Aide Core Training (P.A.C.T.) is a council-designed leadership course and one of the steps required to earn the Program Aide pin. For more information on the Program Aide pin contact info@girlscoutsccc.org.
