A Learning Facilitator is an adult volunteer that leads trainings for leaders and volunteers. In order to become a Learning Facilitator, you must attend a Facilitating Adult Learning Training. We will discuss the specifics of teaching adults, challenges you may face, and the specifics of the type of training you intend to lead.

This course is a prerequisite to becoming a Learning Facilitator. It is designed to prepare volunteers to lead adult learning courses such as Stepping Out, Outdoor Training, or Program Aide Core Training. Topics will include learning styles, conflict resolution, questioning styles, and training courses offered by Learning Facilitators at Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast.
