Join Troop 60249 for a Fort Night! When you can't camp with your friends outside, have some "camping" fun inside!
We have created activities for girls to earn a Fort Night patch, suggested activities attached. We will do those together at this event, but any troop can do them, especially now when we are scouting remotely!
Have your daughter make a fort, using whatever you've got on hand! Blankets & sheets over chairs, tables, or other furniture in the room. Make it comfy with some pillows, extra blankets, etc. Stuffed animals and other snugly friends are welcome. Bring a flashlight for when it starts to get dark. Make your fort fancy with fairy lights, a disco ball, or a light show if you want. Be creative and make it fun!
Girl Scouts are encouraged to bring a snack, pending grown-up approval, because Girl Scouts are always hungry! We will tour some of the forts, tell stories, sing a song, and otherwise have some good ol' Girl Scout alternative camping fun!
