Council is continuing to respond to the COVID-19 situation, following guidelines set in place by the Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Unfortunately because of these circumstances outside of our control we are cancelling all summer day and resident camps that are scheduled through June 30. We have some options for you for refunds and girl support and someone from Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast should have already reached out to you about this. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have questions please email info@girlscoutsccc.org.
Fresh air and sunshine will fill the week of camp as girls explore the values of acting as a citizen scientist.
Girls will participate in interactive activities to learn how scientists solve problems using the scientific method. Girls will practice observation and data collection. We will also explore the wonders of solar cooking and design, and building and flying kites high in the sky. It will be a week full of inventions, investigations, and innovations.
