Council is continuing to respond to the COVID-19 situation, following guidelines set in place by the Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Unfortunately because of these circumstances outside of our control we are cancelling all summer day and resident camps that are scheduled through June 30. We have some options for you for refunds and girl support and someone from Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast should have already reached out to you about this. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have questions please email info@girlscoutsccc.org.
Please register for camp using your child's current grade in school. If the level you need is full, you may complete registration to be put on the wait list. As we get more adult volunteers, we will open more spots.
Simi Valley Girl Scout Day Camp is a wonderful outdoor experience for Girl Scouts of all ages. Younger girls earn a Girl Scout Journey, learn new skills, participate in fun activities, and meet new friends. Older Girl Scouts learn new leadership skills as they run the activities, lead patrols of campers, and work on Girl Scout awards. Camp is one week and runs from 1:45 pm to 7:00 pm each day.
There is an optional morning camp for PA’s from 10:30 am to 12:30
pm.
During this “PA Only” camp time, older girls will earn their
own Journey and have the chance to participate in some of the main
camp activities.
For our volunteers who can help all 5 days, we also offer:
- An Incoming Daisy Patrol for girls going into Kindergarten in the fall.
- A Boys Patrol for boys currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
- A PeeWee Patrol for potty-trained children who are too young for one of the other levels.
Everyone receives:
- Camp T-Shirt
- Camp Participation Patch
- A Lifetime of Memories
Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Camper participants will also receive:
- Camp Only badges for their Girl Scout level
