Council is continuing to respond to the COVID-19 situation, following guidelines set in place by the Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Unfortunately because of these circumstances outside of our control we are cancelling all summer day and resident camps that are scheduled through June 30. We have some options for you for refunds and girl support and someone from Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast should have already reached out to you about this. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have questions please email info@girlscoutsccc.org.
We want girls to have fun, meet new friends and try new things.
Sequoia Day Camp's theme this year is "Be Wild, Be Free,"
and is based on GSCCC Council's own outdoor skill patch program. Girls
will participate in activities like first aid, dutch oven cooking,
safe knife usage, fire building, SWAPs, seed paper, life cycle
biology, and some fun surprises! They will earn the Council Patch,
plus several charms from the skills they learn.
Sequoia
Day Camp will run June 22 - June 26, from 9AM to 1:30PM. There will be
plenty of craft activities and s'mores! Girls currently in K through
5th grade will join us as campers, and those currently in 6th and
higher will be camp leaders, or Program Assistants (PAs), leading the
patrols or stations.
