State Street Ballet invites the Girl Scouts to the premiere of Sleeping Beauty at the beautiful Granada Theatre. Attendees will have private, early entry to The Granada Theatre to watch the professional company finish their ballet class on stage prior to the show. Girls will then be ushered upstairs to the Founder's Room for a mini dance lesson with a professional ballerina, cookies, and juice before watching the live performance.
About Sleeping Beauty: A modern take on a favorite fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty is the newest story ballet in our Family Series. Performed to Tchaikovsky's celebrated score, this is a full-length world premiere, combining classical elements with updated choreography and motifs. Appropriate for audiences of all ages, this joyful production features intricately designed sets, visionary costumes, and virtuosic dancing that has become symbolic of the classical ballet repertoire. An evening to be enjoyed by all!
