Spend the day at UCSB learning all about the natural wonder of our Earth! Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambasadors will spend the first half of the day exploring UCSB’s Earth Science Department. After a break for lunch girls will spend the second half of the day at The REEF which boasts a 2,000 gallon aquarium. Girls will learn all about their local marine ecosystems.
Wear warm comfortable layered clothing and close toed shoes. Bring a full water bottle and a lunch.
No tagalongs. No pets.
This is not a drop off event.
Troop leader or adult chaperone is required to have all traveling forms for each participating girl. All drivers should be registered Girl Scout Members, have completed a volunteer application and background check, have a valid CA driver’s license and hold current vehicle insurance.
