Space Science Investigator Badge Workshop Flyer
Join fellow Girl Scouts in learning more about space!
This is a unique opportunity for girls to earn their Space Science Badge and interact with the Fremont Peak Observatory Association (FPOA). Girls will complete all five badge steps.
Event Schedule:
- 3:00pm-6:00pm: badge step work with GSCCC staff
- 6:15pm-7:15pm: dinner & clean up
- 7:30pm-8:30pm: FPOA presentation
- 9:00– 10:30pm: FPOA public presentation and night sky viewing
This is an indoors/outdoors evening program and the
weather can fluctuate. Wear layered, comfortable clothes, long pants,
closed toe shoes, sunscreen and any other needed sun protection (hat,
sunglasses, etc.).
This is a not a drop off event. No tagalongs. No pets.
Bring a refillable water bottle, brown bag dinner, and snacks.
