Space Science Investigator Flyer
Curious about the night sky? Join your sister Girl Scouts for an evening of space exploration!
Each girl will:
- Get their hands messy making a model of the solar system
- Explore the Earth’s orbit around the sun
- Use tools to discover the stars with the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History
- Earn and take home their Junior Space Science Investigator Badge
We will begin the event at Mission Historical Park for badge activities then girls will go with their adult over to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. This event will carry on into the evening, wear warm comfortable layered clothing and close toed shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle and snacks.
Adults and tag-a-longs are welcome to join their girls during the public star party hosted by SBAU but may not participate in badge work at the park.
This is not a drop off event. No pets
