Santa Barbara Zoo Snooze June Flyer
Mark your calendar for June 1, 2019 or August 2, 2019 and join us as
Girl Scouts take over the entire Santa Barbara Zoo for the
night!
Girls and adults attending will get a ticket for
the next day (Sunday) to attend the zoo. If tag-a-longs and other
family members would like to come with their scouts during normal
operating zoo hours, they are more than welcome to. The overnight
event will be Girl Scouts only.
Girls will receive a
custom Zoo Snooze patch for attending!

- Girl Scouts
must have completed 2nd grade to attend this event.
- Adults
attending must be registered Girl Scouts.
- No tagalongs.
• Gates open to enter the zoo at 6:30pm. Two GSCCC staff
members will begin checking participants in at 6:00pm. We will be
insuring that each troop leader and chaperone has all traveling forms
on hand, double checking that each participant has turned in their Zoo
Agreement, and giving out wristbands which will allow participants to
enter the zoo at 6:30.
• The Parent/Chaperone agreement and
Chaperone agreement can be found in the Sleepover Packet which
provides a lot of information regarding the sleepover as well as a
packing list. All participants need to read this packet and scan and
return their agreement(s) to drichards@girlscoutsccc.org no later than
the registration deadline. If there are any food allergies these MUST
be noted on the agreement.
• Leaders or Adult Chaperones must
have GSCCC Outdoor Training--Parent/guardian accompanying child only
is exempt
• Troop leaders or adult chaperones are required to
have all traveling forms for each participating girl and must submit a
Trip Application to their Service Unit at least two weeks before their
trip.
• This event is for Brownies and above--Daisy girls who
bridged to Brownies in the Spring will not be considered Brownies for
program events until October 1st. An exception is being made for Daisy
Super Sellers
