Girls will...
• Meet with geology experts
• Watch demonstrations and view displays of colorful rocks, minerals, and fossils from private collections
• Take part in the Girl Scout Challenge and earn the Rock Out patch!
EVENT DETAILS: The Ventura Gem & Mineral Society’s Annual Gem, Mineral, Fossil & Lapidary Show is coming to the Ventura County Fairgrounds! There will be beautiful displays, the annual Country Store and Plant sale, silent auctions, raffles, kids activities and demonstrations showing rock cutting and jewelry making along with dealers selling rocks, fossils, minerals, jewelry, and lapidary art supplies!
No pets. This is not a drop off event.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Troop leader or adult chaperone is required to have all traveling forms for each participating girl. All drivers should be registered Girl Scout Members, have completed a volunteer application and background check, have a valid CA driver’s license and hold current vehicle insurance.
