LATO Volunteer Stewardship Workdays Flyer

Join Learning Among the Oaks (LATO) for a volunteer workday. Get dirty, protect the local natural enviornment, and complete service hours! Follow the day with an optional nature hike from 2-3:30pm! All grade levels are welcome to attend.

This is a great opportunity for girls to get connected to their natural environment and local organizations. LATO is host to a GSCCC Gold Award Project, and they are ready and willing to connect with girls and troops for their very own Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award project!

Email drichards@girlscoutsccc.org to RSVP

Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and bring water. Snacks provided. Each participating family will need to complete a Santa Margarita Ranch liability waiver (provided on site).

* Trailhead located at the end of Santa Margarita School parking lot, 22070 H St., Santa Margarita.

Stewardship workdays will be scheduled at other LATO sites in the future. Please ask about ideas for potential Gold Award projects!
