Horse Care Patch Program Flyer
Join GSCCC and A Lotte Opportunity Foundation for horseback riding fun!
Each girl will
- Meet rescue horses and ponies
- Learn the basics of riding, horse care and safety
- Learn to ride at a walk, stop and turn
Wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Bring water, a hat and sunscreen. Adults can bring a camping chair (some seating is available). Please note, the ranch does not have cell coverage but a landline is available if needed.
No tagalongs. No pets. This is not a drop off event.
Troop leader or adult chaperone is required to have all traveling forms for each participating girl. All drivers and chaperones should be registered Girl Scout Members, have completed a background check, have a valid CA driver’s license and hold current vehicle insurance.
