Are you ready to rock?! Come learn about rocks, gems, minerals, fossils, and more at the 28th Annual Paso Robles Gem & Mineral Show. Girls will have an opportunity to earn a special Rock Out! fun patch by participating in this event. Girls will have a chance to:
• Meet with geology experts
• Watch a variety of demonstrations
• See a large variety of educational displays of colorful rocks, minerals, and fossils.
• Participate in a scavenger hunt activity
Please come to the table sometime between 10:00-4:00 to pick up and complete your scavenger hunt.
This event is outdoors. Wear warm comfortable layered clothing and close toed shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle.
No tagalongs. No pets. This is not a drop off event.
As there will be a variety of vendors who will be selling beads, jewelry, specimens, and more onsite, girls may want to bring a small amount of spending money to this event.
Parking $5 per vehicle at fairgrounds.
Troop leader or adult chaperone is required to have all traveling forms for each participating girl. All drivers should be registered Girl Scout Members, have completed a volunteer application and background check, have a valid CA driver’s license and hold current vehicle insurance.
