For the very first time, Girl Scouts are celebrating their love for the outdoors with Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend!
As one of the four pillars that form the foundation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, getting outdoors allows for growth and learning that is an integral part of being a Girl Scout!
Daisy, Brownie, and Junior girls will start their day at the Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Sanctuary exploring local marine mammals. After lunch girls will head on over to the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Discovery Center. Here they will explore the state park during a scavenger hunt and discover how they can keep our land and ocean clean and protect wildlife during a litter getter activity!
Wear warm comfortable layered clothing and close toed shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle and a lunch.
No tagalongs. No pets.
This is not a drop off event.
Incoming Daisies welcome!
