Learn how to fish and earn a fun patch while exploring you local county park, Lake Lopez! Spend a few hours fishing off the dock while learning about the fish who inhabit the lake.
After catching-and-releasing girls will have explore the nature center. All fishing supplies are provided by the park.
There is a $10 fee per car for entrance (cash or card) into the park-carpooling encouraged!
EVENT DETAILS: Wear warm comfortable layered clothing and close toed shoes suitable for hiking. Bring a full water bottle and a lunch. Family members are welcome to come and enjoy the lake with their scouts. This is not a drop off event.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Troop leader or adult chaperone is required to have all traveling forms for each participating girl. All drivers should be registered Girl Scout Members, have completed a volunteer application and background check, have a valid CA driver’s license and hold current vehicle insurance.
