Cadette Breathe Journey in a Weekend Flyer
Join SU155 Coastal Redwoods Cadette Breathe Journey in a weekend and explore the air around us! Girls will be guided through the journey using all five senses with activities in science, art, outdoors, and planning a take action project. Girls will also complete activities for the Cadette Book Artist badge. Girls may complete a take action project. This is a 2-day overnight event.
- Fee: $65 per Girl Scout, Dinner, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and all supplies including badges will be provided.
- Dates: November 2 & 3, 2019 from Saturday 9:30 am to Sunday 3pm
- Location: Castroville
Special Instructions: Come as a troop or individual girl as long as adult ratio is met. Scouts must attend both days to earn Journey awards.
Girls need to pack a lunch & water bottle, dress comfortably for sitting on the floor, going outside, & walking, and wear close toed shoes. Bring sleeping bag, air mattress/cot, and toiletries for overnight.
Please bring annual permission, event permission, and health history forms for each scout (and adults staying overnight). Journey book is not required, however, if troop or scout has one please bring it to the event. Note: Depending on the project the girls plan (girl led), they may need to complete some activities after the event.
