Join your Brownie Girl Scout friends and learn the basics of hiking; how to read a map, how to follow trail signs, how to pack a day pack.
Brownies will earn their Hiker Badge in a hands-on, interactive course. They will be expected to partake in a hike after the educational portion.
This event is outdoors and the weather can fluctuate. Wear layered, comfortable clothes, closed toe shoes, sunscreen and any other needed sun protection (hat, sunglasses, etc.).
Bring a refillable water bottle and lunch.
