Completion of the Council's Outdoor Training by one of the adults in a troop is required before the troop may participate in Fire building, cookouts, tent camping at public or Girl Scout facilities, or for participation in Girl Scout events such as Service Unit camp-outs and Kaleidoscope, etc. Having more than one trained person per troop is STRONGLY recommended.

Part A (Friday) is an evening of discussion and preparation for Part B (Saturday) which is the hands-on training.  You must complete both in this order with the same trainers.

PREREQUISITE: Graded Stepping Out must be received by Manuel Rojolemus by December 26th, e-mailed to Mrojolemus@girlscoutsccc.org for grading.  If you have previously completed Stepping Out or if your SU received and graded your test, you will need to confirm this with me. Please e-mail me if this is the case.

Besides the $15.00 registration fee, there will be a cost for the meal you help prepare on Sunday (amount determined by recipes you select).
