Join fellow Girl Scouts, grade 3 Brownies and older, to earn the third level, HUNTRESS, of the GSCCC Archery Patch Program!
NOTE: Girls must complete the level one, MAIDEN to attend the second level, SCOUT of training.
The bow, the instrument of the Archer, dates back to 6000 BC and has provided a safe and successful way to hunt through the millennia. Today, Archery is part of the Olympic Games and develops powers of concentration and coordination.
The GSCCC Archery Patch Program has three tiers: Maiden, Scout and Huntress. Each tier has five steps; safety, equipment, technique, target practice and archery opportunities.
