Join fellow Girl Scouts, grade 3 Brownies and older, to earn the first level, MAIDEN, of the GSCCC Archery Patch Program!
The bow, the instrument of the Archer, dates back to 6000 BC and has provided a safe and successful way to hunt through the millennium. Today, Archery is part of the Olympic Games and develops powers of concentration and coordination. The GSCCC Archery Patch Program has three tiers; Maiden, Scout, and Huntress.
Each tier has five steps;
· Safety
· Equipment
· Technique
· Target Practice
· Archery Opportunities
GSCCC Trained Level One Certified US Archery Instructors will delivery the program and work with the girls to provide a safe, educational and fun experience on their way to becoming a GSCCC Archery Huntress! Equipment is provided!
