Fund Development and Grant Writer - Ventura

The Fund Development and Grant Writer is a two-part position responsible for advancing Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast mission through a full range of fund development activities and grant writing through cultivation of corporate sponsorships, individual donors, grant inquiries, staff management and volunteer recruitment to meet an overall fundraising goal of $1,000,000. Directly responsible for the established fiscal year development net revenue goal generated by managing and growing existing corporate and individual donor accounts as well as actively identifying and securing new business. Recruitment Specialist

The Outside Recruiting Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective recruiting strategies to increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouting through a variety of in-person meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities with community organizations, corporations, schools, educators, faith-based intuitions and other community constituents. She/he is responsible for securing girl and adult volunteer participation and community partnerships through community cultivation, lead generation, and follow-up. She/he champions efforts related to council strategic priorities, and is accountable for ensuring that these strategies and plans are consistent with the philosophy of Girl Scouting. She/he works cross-functionally to meet membership retention goals as well.   Learn more.

Program Coordinator - Part Time

The Program Coordinator is responsible for delivering the national Girl Scout Leadership Experience curriculum, and for customizing, enriching, and supplementing that curriculum, as needed, for different venues. The position is responsible for supporting recruiting, registering, engaging and retaining girl and adult members through weekly planned events and activities. The Program Coordinator plans for and participates in work involving cost analysis, quality specifications and outcomes assessment. The position directly reports to the Community Outreach Director. This position works independently and has a high degree of autonomy in developing and executing strategies to perform the duties above.  Learn more.
