Chief Business Officer - Ventura

The Chief Business Officer (CBO), accountable for all aspects of the member, stakeholder, or customer support and service provided through the council, reports directly to and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in realizing the vision and strategic priorities set by the council’s Board of Directors. As a key member of the council’s Senior Leadership Team and member of the C-Suite board support team, the CBO is responsible for providing tactical leadership and direction to the council’s internal and business-focused operations ensuring that systems, procedures and processes are available and in place to serve and support members, achieve organizational growth, and advance the mission.  Learn more.

Retail and Product Care Specialist - San Luis Obispo

The Retail Care Specialist is a Professional position with the responsibility and accountability for retail functions at a Service Center location in the council. Recruitment Specialist

The Outside Recruiting Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective recruiting strategies to increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouting through a variety of in-person meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities with community organizations, corporations, schools, educators, faith-based intuitions and other community constituents. She/he is responsible for securing girl and adult volunteer participation and community partnerships through community cultivation, lead generation, and follow-up. She/he champions efforts related to council strategic priorities, and is accountable for ensuring that these strategies and plans are consistent with the philosophy of Girl Scouting. Customer Care Specialist - Ventura or Castroville

The Customer Care Specialist at GSCCC supports the organization as we continue to find effective ways to recruit and retain girls and adults for one of the most recognized and beloved brands in the country. The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for providing direct service to members/customers in person, by telephone, and/or by email to fulfill reservation and registration requests, provide general information about Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast programs and services, research and resolve inquiries, track and maintain programs and registrations in our databases, process payments and refunds, and other administrative duties as assigned. Program Coordinator - Part Time

The Program Coordinator is responsible for delivering the national Girl Scout Leadership Experience curriculum, and for customizing, enriching, and supplementing that curriculum, as needed, for different venues. The position is responsible for supporting recruiting, registering, engaging and retaining girl and adult members through weekly planned events and activities. The Program Coordinator plans for and participates in work involving cost analysis, quality specifications and outcomes assessment. The position directly reports to the Community Outreach Director. Girl Experience Specialist - Part Time

The Girl Experience Specialist (GES) is responsible for supporting and delivering Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) program and is responsible for developing and delivering (directly or indirectly) activities that meet GSLE outcomes. They will support program enrichment and delivery, membership growth and retention, and volunteer engagement and development.
