Join us for Horse Care fun at the Camp Arnaz Equine Center! Girls will learn the basic skills of grooming, tacking up, safety, and daily tasks. Girls will learn:
- When and what to feed horses.
- Safety measures when grooming and tacking up a horse.
- How to tack up and properly saddle and bridle a horse.
- How to properly take care of a horse after being worked.
Due to the nature of the permissions given to registrants, only legal parents/guardians may register their own girls.
All interactions with the horses (including petting, feeding, and riding) are at the discretion of the instructor.
