Spend the day exploring the waters of Morro Bay with Girl Scouts! The half day classic kayaking trip combines a fun filled morning of paddling through waters protected from the open ocean and rich in bird life. After paddling for a while the group will beach the kayaks on a part of the sand dunes, then paddle back!
Wear footwear that can get wet and muddy, and lightweight synthetic clothing that dries quickly, avoid jeans or cotton. Bring a jacket and an extra layer. Bring a refillable water bottle and a lunch.
No tagalongs. No pets.
Registration begins at 8:45am event begins at 9:00am.
Troop leader or adult chaperone is required to have all traveling forms for each participating girl. All drivers should be registered Girl Scout Members, have completed a volunteer application and background check, have a valid CA driver’s license and hold current vehicle insurance.
