Engineering Challenge! with Alpha Omega Epsilon (J/C/S/A) San Luis Obispo County
Date: Sat Oct 19, 9:00 AM PST - Sat Oct 19, 1:00 PM PST

Anything that is built must first be engineered, or planned out. An engineer is a person who designs and builds products, machines, systems, or structures. Engineers want to know how and why things work.

In this engineering challenge we will break you up into small teams to investigate how different engineering designs for a bridge will work! Throughout the day you will be able to test your bridge and make improvements. Each team will have at least one engineering student mentor to help you along the way. At the end of the day we will have multiple challenges to test different aspects of your bridge prototype, and before you leave you will have an awesome-looking patch to remember the event with.

Join Alpha Omega Epsilon, a STEM focused academic sorority, for a fun day of bridge building with mentorship from our sisters!

More specific information on the room and where to park will be emailed out once registered.

This is a FREE event! Participants must register.
