4th Annual Engineering Challenge
Date: Sat Apr 20, 9:00 AM PST - Sat Apr 20, 12:00 PM PST

Anything that is built must first be engineered, or planned out. An engineer is a person who designs and builds products, machines, systems, or structures. Engineers want to know how and why things work.

Join fellow Girl Scouts at the 4th Annual Engineering Challenge hosted by Alpha Omega Epsilon -- a Cal Poly Engineering Sorority. This year's challenge is building a bridge! The program will include investigating how different bridge designs works, and then using that information to construct one of our own. Participants will work in small teams, each with a designed college student mentor who is currently studying engineering.

Throughout the day you will be able to test your bridge and make improvements. At the end of the day we will have multiple challenges to test different aspects of your bridge prototype, and before you leave you will have an awesome-looking patch to remember the event with!

Please bring:
-A refillable water bottle with your name on it.

We will be sending out a confirmation email with specific information about the event in early April.
