Breaking Barriers to Build Change:
Featuring Women of Distinction and Annual Awards

Thursday May 20th 5:30 PM
A Virtual Experience

Each year, Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast honors key individuals who have poured their heart and soul into the Girl Scout organization. They pave the way for future girl leaders by acting as exemplary role models, achieving lasting change in their communities, and demonstrating that with the power of a G.I.R.L., anything is possible. This year we are bringing our annual event to you with a virtual experience. Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast will honor our amazing volunteers for their accomplishments, community leadership, and commitment to making a positive difference with our girls. This virtual event brings together and recognizes a group of purpose-driven leaders in our community, who, like our girls, are always ready and willing to serve their communities and lead by example.

  • Financial Empowerment - Advance the roles of women in finance, empower future business leaders and invest in the financial future of the community. These women are leaders in the financial sector.
  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math - Leaders in the arts and sciences who promote and advocate for the advancement and recognition of women in these careers. These women are role models, mentors and have demonstrated leadership success in S.T.E.M.
  • Leadership - Exemplify unique vision and are transforming the leadership landscape for women through their achievements. These women are educators, entrepreneurs and executive leaders within the community.
