Planned Giving - Juliette Gordon Low Society

For the Future of Girls, and for Girls of the Future!

The Juliette Gordon Low (JGL) Society was founded on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts to thank and honor friends who, like Juliette, choose to make Girl Scouts part of their legacy and a beneficiary of their estate.

As a JGL Society member, you will be invited to attend exclusive JGL events as well as receive a special membership lapel pin, a subscription to the council’s donor newsletter and GSUSA’s planned giving newsletter.  Members are also included in the GSUSA and GSCCC Annual Report and website.

If you have already named Girl Scouts as the beneficiary of a planned gift, please let us know. We will welcome you as a Juliette Gordon Low Society member at our next exclusive JGL event!

Providing a planned gift through the JGL Society in your estate plans can include naming Girl Scouts as beneficiary, of the following:

  • Will
  • Retirement plan
  • Charitable gift annuity
  • Living trust
  • Donor advised fund
  • Life insurance policy
  • Charitable remainder trust
  • Charitable lead trust
  • Remainder gift of real estate
  • Any other gift that benefits Girl Scouts in the future
