Girl Scout Bronze Award



Welcome to the Girl Scout Bronze Award, a leadership adventure and the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. As you and your team plan and complete your project, you'll develop more confidence, meet new people, and have the kind of fun that happens when you work with other Girl Scouts to make a difference.
 
Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Who approves my Girl Scout Bronze Award? Your leader or advisor that you are working with approves your Bronze Award.
  2. Do I need to submit any paperwork to Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast in order to purchase my Bronze Award pin and certificate? No. once you have completed your Bronze Award project and your leader/advisor has signed-off on it, you may purchase your Bronze Award pin and certificate from the council store.
  3. Are there resources for troops working with girls to earn the Bronze Award? Yes! GSUSA has developed the Bronze Award Guidelines so that girls and adults can work together successfully to complete the Bronze Award.
Keep in Mind:
  • Make sure the project follows Safety Activity Checkpoints, including money-earning guidelines.
  • Make sure the project involves 20 hours for each girl to complete her take action project.
  • Complete all requirements by September 30 following your 5th grade year.
