Girls will dive into the fascinating world of energy as they meet
real-life power-use experts, learn how energy works, and explore why
using it wisely matters. Through hands-on investigation, girls will
conduct energy audits in a local building, think like energy
detectives, and discover practical ways people and communities can
save energy. They will also work together to plan a project that
addresses an energy issue in their neighborhood, such as encouraging
carpools, reducing unnecessary lighting, or promoting energy-saving
habits at school. This program gives Juniors the chance to build
leadership skills, strengthen teamwork, and create positive change in
their community while having fun.
