Please Join GSCCC for a night of celebration and to help Inspire and Empower tomorrow's future leaders!
Each year, Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast honors key individuals who have poured their heart and soul into the Girl Scouts organization to support all girls on their journey to becoming the leaders of tomorrow. These folks pave the way for future girl leaders by acting as exemplary role models, achieving lasting change in their communities, and demonstrating that with the power of the
Girl Scout Leadership Experience, anything is possible.
Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast will honor these amazing volunteers for their accomplishments, community leadership, and commitment to making a positive difference with our girls. This event brings together and recognizes a group of purpose driven leaders in our community, who, like the girl, are always ready and willing to serve their communities and lead by example.
This year we are coming together at the White Barn in Edna Valley, San Luis Obispo to celebrate our six Women of Distinction and the hundreds of volunteers that are the glue in the Girl Scout communities.

Check back for 2024 Festival info!
Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast partnered with Rotary Club of Ventura-East to host a Food, Wine & Beer Festival to aid the Monarch butterfly population. Join us at beautiful Camp Arnaz. From 4-7 PM, guests are able to enjoy an array of delicious food samples from restaurants, caterers, bakeries, and specialty shops, as well as palette-pleasing fine wines, unique brews, and specialty beverages from throughout the local region and California.
Proceeds of this festival will aid in the establishment of the Monarch Breeding and Research Institute at Camp Arnaz which will promote the replenishment of the monarch population. Monarchs are the most well-known butterfly, though their population has been in a steep decline for the past 30 years. The milkweed plant, which is the only food source for the monarch caterpillar, has also drastically decreased since then. By attending this event, guests are able to play a significant role in the restoration of the Monarch population.
2023 Event Recap: Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast’s restoration efforts were also in display at the event as attendees were able to tour the nectar and pollinator gardens which are already in place at Camp Arnaz. The sponsors for this event included: ReMax Broker RoseAnne Hill, Sun, Moon & Stars Medical Corp, Chris Landon, Everett & Debbie Millais, Crowne Plaza, Betsy Chess, Mike & Tammie Helmuth, and Brenda Allison.
