Join your fellow Girl Scouts on an animal adventure at Charles Paddock Zoo! Learn the ways that animals “talk” how you can “listen “ and ways you can help animals.

This is a great event for Daisies working on their “5 flowers, 4 stories and 3 cheers for animals” journey and for Brownies working on their Animal Adventure badge.

Girls will be outdoors and walking for part of this event. Girls should dress appropriately- layers, sun protection and good walking shoes are recommended. All attendees should bring a water bottle, preferably reusable.

Adults: Please note that space is limited in the zoo facilities we will be using, so please no tagalongs for the program. You are welcome to enjoy the zoo with siblings while girls go through the program.

There is a park next to the zoo, so families may want to pack a lunch to enjoy after the event.

Troop leader or adult chaperone is required to have all travelingforms for each participating girl. (Annual Permission Form, Health History, Permission for Medication, Permission to Release) Forms can be downloaded from the council website here. Review specific event requirements in Safety Activity Checkpoints before taking any trip. All drivers should be registered Girl Scout Members, have completed a volunteer application and background check, have a valid CA driver’s license and hold current vehicle insurance.
