What:  The American Red Cross Masters of Disaster curriculum is centered on a series of ready-to-go lesson plans that help organizations educate youth about important disaster science, safety and preparedness information.  The curriculum uses fun and engaging lessons to educate children using hands-on activities and interactive discussions.
The Masters of Disaster series of topics is of the highest quality and most comprehensive available. The curriculum materials cover modules on-

o Preparing for any disaster with Be Disaster Safe.
o Coping with tough issues like terrorism, war and pandemic flu with Facing Fear.
o Recovering and rebuilding from any disaster with In the Aftermath.
o Preventing injuries that happen at home with Home Safety.
o Earthquakes.
o Fire Prevention and Safety.
o Floods.
o Hurricanes.
o Lightning.
o Tornadoes.
o Wildland Fires.

Within the Masters of Disaster Educator’s Kit there are:
