What
Want to get outdoors and satisfy your Wildlife badge requirements? Bring your troop out to Neary Lagoon in downtown Santa Cruz for an educational Wetland Walk. This free after-school field trip is an excellent way to encourage your girls to explore nature and have a great time. Our goal on the walk is to observe wildlife and count commonly seen birds - we provide a pair of binoculars for everyone on the walk.

The walk lasts between 1 to 2 hours, to be determined by the troop leader.
Brownies satisfy the Wildlife Watching badge and Juniors satisfy the Wildlife badge.
