Our retail program centers invite D/B/J and non-member girls to join us for our camp readiness fun patch program. “Ready, Set, Camp” is a program designed to help girls prepare for and make the most out of their camping experiences. It aims to instill important skills and knowledge, as well as promote teamwork and camaraderie among the girls. The program includes a series of activities and workshops that cover various aspects of camping, such as setting up tents, creating an outdoor recipe book, basic first aid, and nature identification. The program helps girls become more prepared and confident campers, allowing them to fully enjoy the camping experience and develop an appreciation for nature and the outdoors. It also promotes the values and mission of the Girl Scouts organization, which focuses on empowering girls and preparing them for leadership roles.
