Join fellow Girl Scouts for an exiting day exploring the Channel Island Harbor by Kayak!
Kayak instructors will provide instruction on safety, maneuvering.
Kayak, paddles and life vests will be provided.
Required: appropriate bathing suit, board shorts, rash guard or T-shirt. water shoe or tennis shoe that can get wet.
Don’t forget sun screen, a secure hat and/or shades.
We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle. No food or drink will be provided
NOTE: *event may be canceled if minimum of 6 registrants are not met, or high winds occur.
High-risk form will be sent in conformation email.
Troop leader or adult chaperone is required to have all traveling forms for each participating girl. (Annual Permission Form, Health History, Permission for Medication, Permission to Release) Forms can be downloaded from the council website here Review specific event requirements in Safety Activity Checkpoints before taking any trip. All drivers should be registered Girl Scout Members, have completed a volunteer application and background check, have a valid CA driver’s license and hold current vehicle insurance.
